Xun Liao Bay Half Marathon:Nigerians dominate



Two of  the five Nigerian Marathoners who went to China are back in the country.

The quintet of Adeola Olufunmilayo, Muibat Ogunkoya,Adamu Shehu,Dinatu Yohana and Sudy Yamba  flew the country’s flag high as Adamu Shehu and Dinatu Yohana won Xun Liao Bay Half Marathon.

Adamu Shehu ran 31 minutes 42 seconds to win the men’s category while Yohana emerged Champion in women’s category and also ended in 10th overall.

Also, Yamba and Adeola registered their names in the top ten.

Yamba settled for bronze as his compatriot  Adeola finished 7th.

The Long Distance Runners also took part in the Nanning International Half Marathon

Born July 13, 1965, Fred Edoreh hails from Umeh, Isoko South, Delta State. He attended St. John Primary School, Iselegu, Mater Dei Collage Ashaka, St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Asaba for HSC and graduated in English and Literary Studies at Bendel State University, Ekpoma.
