Reminiscent of the “Burma” days, Obule Integrated Schools, representing Sapele LGA handed Kokodiagbene Sec School from Warri South West 7-nil at the Army Barracks, Effurun, venue while Essi College also pummeled Gbesa Government School, Burutu 7-0 in a show of strengths at the Otor Udu Primary School ground, Udu.

It was a baptism of fire for the Kokodiagbene boys who came to the knock out untried with a walk over of NIFOR Secondary School to emerge Warri South West champions.

Interestingly, it was a return to action for Coach Tosan Blackson who lead Master Care International School, Asaba, to victory in the last edition, as he now leads Obule Integrated into the competition he is now so familiar with.

Ibru College, Agbarha Otor, Ughelli North II, staged a repeat performance, dismissing Igbuku Secondary School representing Ndokwa East 4-1, same margin with which they defeated Oguname Sec Sch, to emerge the LG champions.

Ogume Sec School, Ogume, however provided a cheer for Ndokwa West as they discharged Ovwian Secondary School 3-0 to keep hope alive.

It was a tough ding dong at the Utagba Ogbe Grammar School venue as St Paul’s Sec Sch, Ozoro and Alidima Secondary, Agbor, dragged the stakes to the last stretch until the Isoko North lads overcame with a 3-2 win.
