Tornadoes plot to pound Nasarawa

After losing narrowly to Abia Warriors in Umuahia in their midweek outing at Umuahia on match day 11 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Niger Tornadoes are home and Coach Abubakar Bala says they catch up on the standings by going all out for maximum points against visiting Nasarawa United  this Sunday as they file out for match day 12 contest.

Bala assured Tornadoes fans he has already spelt out the plan to his boys and he expects them to get the better of the visitors from Lafia.

“We have concluded our strategy. First, we want to secure the maximum points then if the opportunity avails itself we want to score with high margin”, said Coach Bala.

Niger Tornadoes knows that going into the match would be crucial as such the coach said that he won’t take it likely and will throw all his arsenals on the Solid Miners of Lafia.

“I have told my boys all matches we play there is nothing like home or away matches, we must take all teams seriously, we don’t want to caught unawares.”

He admitted that Nassarawa United are good side and have been in the NPFL for sometimes now but that it won’t stop his from acquiring the maximum points at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.

Coach Bala already knows that his compatriot with the Lafia based, Kabiru Dogo has a good team and has spent some seasons with the club, but he remains confident that his boys will win the game and further solidify their climbing up the league log.

However, Andrew Evans Ikefe has not fully recovered from his knee injury while Peter Momoh and Gabriel Jeremiah Abutu have been recalled into the team.
