Super Eagles get feel of St Petersburg Stadium

The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday afternoon got a feel of the turf of the St Petersburg Stadium, venue of the last group stage game between Nigeria and Argentina.

They opened training at the 64,000 capacity stadium at 5pm, St Petersburg time (about 3pm Nigerian time) with all the players in attendance.

Prior to the training session, Gernot Rohr addressed a press conference at which he fielded several questions about the team and the crucial encounter with Argentina coming up on Tuesday.

Born July 13, 1965, Fred Edoreh hails from Umeh, Isoko South, Delta State. He attended St. John Primary School, Iselegu, Mater Dei Collage Ashaka, St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Asaba for HSC and graduated in English and Literary Studies at Bendel State University, Ekpoma.
