Sunshine Stars International Football Club continued to impress at the on going South West Pre Season Soccer Tournament in Lagos with another eye catching performance.
The Owena Waves team recorded an emphatic 2-1 win over MFM FC in its second match of the tournament.
Sunshine Stars who defeated 3SC 2-0 on the opening day, wasted no time before hammering the Olukoya Boys in front of their home fans.
Samad Quadri set the tone for the day as he netted the opener for Sunshine Stars in the first half to cap a fine performance.
All efforts by the Olukoya Boys to even score before half time was abortive as the Akure based team stood firm and showed lots of resilience.
Sunshine Stars started the second half with same tempo and hunger for goals and the efforts paid off when Kehinde Adedipe got the second goal.
