Sokari Extends CS Sfaxien Contract

Nigeria international Kingsley Sokari has ended speculation about his future after extending his contract with Tunisian Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 side Club Sportif Sfaxien.

The attacking midfielder has penned a new deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2020-2021 season.

Sokari’s previous agreement with CS Sfaxien would have expired in June 2019 if he had not extended his stay.

The 23-year-old, who has been labelled the New Iniesta in his homeland, had been linked with possible moves to Russian and Gulf clubs as well as Etoile du Sahel and Esperance in Tunisia.

He has started all the matches played by CS Sfaxien in the new season and was on target in their last game with ES Metlaoui.
