Shooting Stars recall players to camp

Shooting Stars Sports Club, Ibadan, has directed its players to report to  camp on Wednesday, November 1, to begin preparations for campaign in the forthcoming Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

Club Media Officer, Jubril Arowolo, to Sportstalkafrica.com the directive was issued on Sunday by Team Manager, Dimeji Lawal, on behalf of the management.

The directive indicates that the newly confirmed Head Coach, Edith Agoye will be fully in charge when the team finally assemble.

Dismayed about their relegation from the elite Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), the “Oluyole Warriors” have been visibly re-shaping their house in a bid to begin the campaign for return to the top flight on a strong footing.

After offloading a number of players almost immediately after their fall, the club also eased out former Technical Adviser, Fatai Amoo, and announced his replacement last week with Coach Edith Agoye who was also a member of the coaching crew that suffered relegation.
