Pre-Season; Remo Stars whitewashed Shooting Stars 4-0





Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) newcomer, Remo Stars Football Club Wednesday evening run riot with a 4-0 emphatic win over Shooting Stars Sports Club in the South West Pre-Season Tournament at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos reports

The Sky Blue side squeezed the Oluyole Warriors for the full ninety minutes and didn’t allow them a shot on target, gaining better possession of the entire duration.

Nonso Paul, who was on loan with 3SC last season opened the scoring in the first half but Francis Nwankwo stole the show with a second half brace.

Inspiring attacker, Opeoluwa Olufemi, scored the fourth goal off an assist from Francis Nwankwo to pummeled Shooting Stars.

Shooting Stars are yet to record point in the tourney and have conceded six goals in two games, having lost 2-0 to Sunshine Stars in the opening game.

The Oluyole Warriors will battle MFM FC in their last game of the competition organized by South West FA Chairmen Forum.

Sunshine Stars tops the log with 6 points from two games, followed by Remo Stars with 3 points from two games, MFM also garnered 3 points from two matches, while Shooting Stars are bottom on the log with zero point.
