Plateau United part ways with Mafeng Pam

Nigeria Professional Football League side Plateau United Football Club of Jos has dropped one of its young and promising players, Mafeng Pam, due to unresolved contractual issues with his manager.

The talented diminutive midfielder who break into the main team under the tutelage of Kennedy Boboye, has played three matches in the ongoing season.

According to a statement signed by the media officer of the club, Albert Dakup noted with dismay the attitude of Mafeng agent which is impacting negatively on the player.

Mafeng was scheduled to travelled with the team ahead of this evening Week 12 NPFL tie against Shooting Stars Sports Club in Ibadan was dropped due to the lingering issue with his agent who was the immediate past General Coordinator of the team.

Dakup explained that despite genuine efforts by management of the club to have the issues resolved amicably, the said agent remained adamant, thereby forcing Plateau United management to take such decision to sack Mafeng.

The agent Sportstalkafrica.com gathered is said to be making excessive demands on the player’s transfer fee.

The NPFL table topper expressed dissatisfaction at the antics of the agent which is aimed at retarding the progress of the player who was once a member of Golden Eaglet of 2015 before he was dropped prior to the teams departure to Chile.
