Oyekale hit Ogbomoso to seal Crown deal

Ex-international, Oladunni Oyekale, has arrived Ogbomosho, ahead of his scheduled unveiling as Crown Football Club new Technical Adviser reports Sportstalkafrica.com.

The Ogbomosho born tactician has agreed personal terms with the Ajilete Valiants and will replace Fatai Osho, who walked away from the team to join Remo Stars a fort night ago.

Reports suggest that Oyekale will be handed a two-year contract in which he would be expected to ensure he returns Crown back to the elite league.

Oyekale who resigned as Gombe United assistant coach last weekend, has been offered a mouth watering offer with Crown and will sign the dotted line on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.

Oyo State Commissioner for Sports, Yomi Oke, has expressed so much confidence in Oyekale, when he paid him a courtesy visit in his Ibadan office.

“Oyekale has vast experience and immense knowledge of the game, and will certainly add value to the team. He will command the respect of the players and his track records speaks volume for him,” Oke said.

Oyekale, is staging a second return to Crown having been worked with the team from 2010 through 2014. In his four years he led the team to the Premier League once.

He was instrumental to Gombe United promotion back to the Nigeria Professional Football League at the end of last season.
