Onuwa Targets League Title Next Season

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) will be going all out for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title next season after missing it by a whisker to eventual champions Plateau united, according to Chukwuka Onuwa.
The graciously gifted midfielder told sportstalkafrica.com that they are happy wit their performance last season by picking a CAF ticket, but that they would do everything humanly possible to make sure they clinch the NPFL title this coming season
MFM finished a respectable second and also picked the ticket to represent Nigeria in the 2018 Caf Champions League.
“Next season we will be going for the league title,” Onuwa said.
“With new signings expected to strengthen the side we should be having a stronger squad.
“Pre-season will soon start. That’s how serious we are.”
Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side will be competing in the CAF Champions League, NPFL and Aiteo Cup next term. This had led to doubts on the team’s ability to cope with three competitions.
“The main concern is having the right chemistry and team to perform very well in these three competitions. I believe that we have the machinery to get the job done and by the grace of God it will be a more glorious and sweet season.”
