Ofem Inah joins Akwa Utd





Akwa United Football Club have signed Ofem Inah from CAF Champions League campaigners, Rivers United Football Club sportstalkafrica.com can exclusively report.


It’s believed that the versatile right full back joined the former Federation Cup champions because of the bumper pay offered him.

The former Sunshine Stars defender assists last term for Rivers United, featuring prominently for the Garden City side.

Ofem the dead ball specialist while speaking with sportstalkafrica.com on his move to Akwa United said what the Promise Keepers side offered him cannot be turned down.


“I’m now with Akwa United, and I’m happy to be here. Akwa United showed interest in me and I couldn’t turn down the offer.

“I think this is the right place for me at the moment and I will do my best to ensure Akwa United get a continental ticket at the end of the season,” said the spoken former Enyimba International FC player.

Born July 13, 1965, Fred Edoreh hails from Umeh, Isoko South, Delta State. He attended St. John Primary School, Iselegu, Mater Dei Collage Ashaka, St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Asaba for HSC and graduated in English and Literary Studies at Bendel State University, Ekpoma.
