NSA Hails Eagles Performances against Cameroon …Praises D’ Tigress over AfroBasket triumph

Organisers of the Nigeria Sports Awards,(NSA), Unmissable Incentives Limited, have congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria on their impressive performance over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in both ties of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier held in Uyo and Yaoundé.

This was contained in a statement issued by the management of the company which was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr.Kayode Idowu

The Super Eagles had last week humiliated the African champion, Cameroon beating them 4 -0 in Uyo and thereafter securing a point at the lion’s backyard in Yaoundé.

The company equally commended the coaching crew for coming up with  the right set of players even as it charged them to sustain the momentum by going ahead to win the remaining matches and book a place in the World Cup in Russia.

In a similar development, the organisers also commended the National Female Basketball team, D’ Tigress for doing the country proud by winning the FIBA AfroBasket championship in Mali and eventually qualifying for the World Cup in Spain.

Idowu, in a statement hailed the teams for the ‘emphatic victories” recorded over their African foes saying that the victories have reinforced Nigeria’s supremacy in sports.

The statement further said the superlative performances of the Super Eagles as well as that of the female basketball team demonstrates the undying spirit of excellence common among Nigerian sports men and women.

The statement noted that going by the performances and determinations displayed, there was no doubt that both teams understand the stakes and are fully committed to achieving them.

Specifically, he warned the Super Eagles team not to be complacent as there are still other matches to be played before the World Cup ticket can be guaranteed.

Idowu however reminded sport lovers to participate in the forthcoming Nigeria Sports Award by nominating in the various categories noting that nomination process is still open. He said, prospective participant can log in to the official website of the award (www.nigeriansportsaward.com) or go through other social media platforms to nominate their sports personalities in the different categories.
