NPFL Transfer: Sunshine lose Afeez Aremu to Akwa

Akwa United Football Club of Uyo has completed the signing of Sunshine Stars International Football Club mercurial midfielder, Afeez Aremu, Sportstalkafrica.com can exclusively report.

Aremu successfully completed his move to the Promise Keepers after he impressed Coach Abdul Maikaba whom we learnt is in love with the youthful box-to-box player.

The erstwhile Rivers United star while confirming his movement said he penned a year contract and expressed satisfaction with his transfer.

“I thank God and everybody around me, and I want to promise that I will play out my mind with Akwa United. I want to appreciate Coach Maikaba for the confidence and love he has for me. Without mesmerizing words he is one of the best coach I have played under.”
The former Remo Stars player is a delight to watch and quite ahead of his age because he plays top level football. Coaches say he has spirit and something very interesting to bring to any club
He is an efficient player who gets into the box at the right moment. He goes where it hurts and when he gets there he is a good finisher.

Born July 13, 1965, Fred Edoreh hails from Umeh, Isoko South, Delta State. He attended St. John Primary School, Iselegu, Mater Dei Collage Ashaka, St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Asaba for HSC and graduated in English and Literary Studies at Bendel State University, Ekpoma.
