NPFL season opener: MFM boost squad with 4 new players

Nigeria Professional Football League side, MFM FC have strengthened their squad with the signing of four new players in their quest to ensure better performance as the NPFL new season kicks off this weekend, reports sportstalkafrica.com.

Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu took a giant step towards boosting his squad with four players drawn from both professional and amateur sides.

The new signings are former Lobi Stars midfielder Suleiman Abdullah, Sunshine Stars attacker Gold Busayo, Ikorodu United defender Taofeek Yakubu and John Okolie from Messiah FC.

Ilechukwu told Sportstalkafrica.com that he was delighted with the new signings and believes that the new additions will improve the results of the team.

MFM escaped relegation by the whiskers on the last match day of last season and they will be at home to face Niger Tornadoes this Sunday at the Agege Stadium, Lagos to open their season.
