NNL Super4: Ugbade delighted with win over Manu Garba

Technical Adviser of Nigeria Professional League (NPFL) side, Remo Stars Football Club, Nduka Ugbade, has expressed delight with his lads after defeating host state, Gombe United in the 3rd place match of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super4 tournament.

 

The former MFM gaffer is Manu Garba, direct assistant at the national team level with the Golden Eaglet, having served in same capacity at the under 20.

 

Manu is the head coach of Gombe United, after agreeing to stage a return to the team last month.

 

Ugbade appreciated the fact that both teams played the same way in the game, putting pressure on each other and eventually giving the neutrals a good game.

 

Ugbade expressed how lucky he was to defeat Manu Garba tutored boys via penalty.

 

“I was lucky at least to be able to beat my boss.” he said.

 

The Sky Blue Stars defeated Gombe United to finish third in the just concluded Nigeria National League (NNL) Super4.
