The Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 4 will kick off on Tuesday December 13, 2016 reports sportstalkafrica.com.
The clubs that won each of the four groups in NNL will participate in the annual Super 4 tournament to determine the overall winner for the 2015/2016 NNL Season.
According to the Executive Secretary of NNL, Lawrence Katken, arrival date for all clubs is Monday December 12 for accreditation and other formalities, while games will commence Tuesday December 13 with the finals scheduled for Thursday December 15, at the Patani Stadium, Gombe.
Katken confirmed that the Gombe State Government had given approval to host the tournament which involves the four newly promoted clubs to the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The NPFL newcomers namely ABS FC, Gombe United FC, Katsina United and Remo stars FC shall be allowed to register additional seven new players to participate in the tournament.
This accordingly will afford the clubs opportunity to test new intakes as well as prepare ahead of the NPFL season which kicks off December 18, 2016.
