Former junior international goalkeeper, Moses Ocheje, has confirmed to sportstalkafrica.com that he will pen deal with Abia Warriors Football Club before weekend.
Ocheje, had appeared to be on his way to Gold Cup champions Lobi Stars before the deal fell through.
The former Sunshine Stars goalkeeper had less playing time with the People’s Elephants last season as he had to compete with the trio of Theophilus Afelokhai, Chijioke Ejiogu and Olufemi Thomas for the number one jersey.
The sharp reflexive safehand told sportstalkafrica.com after his first training session with the Umuahia side on Thursday morning: “I am very happy to be here. I am very excited to be here, and I am here to make history.
“I think the reception given to me when I arrived the team camp is encouraging, I think they’re friendly.
“It is the dream of every player to help his side win the league, Federation Cup or secure a continental ticket, that’s my dream for Abia Warriors.”
