If report reaching sportstalkafrica.com is anything to go by then former Akwa United coach, Maurice Cooreman might be on his way back to relegated Ikorodu United.
The former Warri Wolves gaffer quits Akwa United after he was twice suspended by the Promise-Keepersmanagement is fully set to return to the club he coached in the Nigeria National League in 2015.
Cooreman lead Ikorodu United to gain promotion into the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The 73 years man led Ocean Boys to the title in 2006, but was sacked in September 2006 and also assisted Kaduna United to a historic Federation Cup glory for the first time for the state between 2009 – 2010.
He has also coached Lobi Stars, Gabros International, Warri Wolves and Gombe United.
