LA LIGA partners Victor Ezeji




The Nigeria Office of the Spanish La Liga, La Liga Nigeria has congratulated Nigeria League legend, Victor Ezeji on his illustrious 20 year career in the top flight of Nigerian football.

Country manager La Liga Nigeria, Mutiu Adepoju revealed this in a goodwill message sent to Victor Ezeji through the Chairman MOC of the Victor Ezeji Testimonial China Acheru ahead of the match at the Sharks Stadium in Port Harcourt billed for the 17th of December, 2016. The Head Master- Adepoju described Victor Ezeji as a legend worth celebrating and pledge a hand of support for the testimonial showcase.

“Victor is a legend and he deserves to be celebrated, he played 20 years at the top flight which is no mean fit, this is why we will be at his testimonial match to support and celebrate him”.

“La Liga Nigeria will be proud to associate with Ezeji and the event”.


The Victor Ezeji Testimonial is scheduled to be played at the Sharks Stadium in Port Harcourt on the 17th of December and match is expected to draw a crowd of Ezeji’s friends and fans to celebrate a player who gave his all while playing 20 seasons in the Nigerian top flight.

Ezeji started his professional career with Sharks in 1996, he
also played for Eagle Cement/Dolphins, Enyimba, Sunshine Stars and Heartland, winning for himself the Nigeria Premier league with Dolphins in 2004 in addition to three FA Cup titles in 2014, 2016 and 2017 with the Port Harcourt side.

In his stint with Enyimba, Ezeji also won the Nigerian League title, A CAF Champions league and a CAF Super Cup trophy as well not forgetting the WAFU Cup medal in his third stint at Sharks from

Born July 13, 1965, Fred Edoreh hails from Umeh, Isoko South, Delta State. He attended St. John Primary School, Iselegu, Mater Dei Collage Ashaka, St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Asaba for HSC and graduated in English and Literary Studies at Bendel State University, Ekpoma.
