Injury crisis hit Rivers United …Battle Rangers without six key players

Rivers united will battle Rangers international of Enugu without six first team players, as they are hit by severe injury problems.

Inspirational captain, Festus Austin is down with an hamstring, Ayo Saka who has been a wonderful in midfield for the Port Harcourt based team has been nursing an injury sin the confederation cup game against FUS Rabat and will play no part too.

Bolaji Sakin didn’t not make the trip to Enugu too due to injury, while striker Guy Kuemian is down with malaria and could not travel with the team, while first choice goalkeeper, Abiodun Akande is on a lengthy injury layoff due to a fractured leg.

The week 32 NPFL encounter which will take place at the Nanmdi Azikiwe stadium will see both teams battle for points as both heavy weights are currently battling with relegation.
