Coach Maurice Cooreman has been relieved of his duties as coach of Nigeria National League side, Ikorodu United Football Club Sportstalkafrica.com can exclusively report.
Cooreman we gathered was shown the exit door by Ikorodu United, after series of internal wrangling with the club management.
Further check reveals the Belgian tactician was sacked on Wednesday.
Cooreman led the team to the elite league before working away to join Akwa United before the start of last season. He was reappointed as Ikorodu United gaffer December 2016.
The Oga Boys are yet to hire a replacement for Cooreman barely two weeks to kick off the 2017 NNL season.
Sportstalkafrica.com investigation further revealed that the club management have opened discussions with Dutch coach, Theo de Jong to stage a return to the team.
It will be recalled Theo de Jong made a big impact managing the team last season in the Nigeria Professional Football League, when he was contracted for three months.
Jong improved Ikorodu United gait and overall team performance after belatedly taking over the reins at the club.
