The battling holding midfielder, who has also starred for Shooting Stars of Ibadan as well as clubs in Malta and Portugal, believes playing in a stadium named after Keshi should spur him to shine against Rangers.

“I am happy that my team qualified for the final and we will meet Rangers in the final, and the final is in Asaba.

“That stadium is named after my late former coach in the national team, Stephen Keshi, The Boss. I am sure his spirit will help me and Kano Pillars win the Federation Cup final in Asaba, by the special grace of God.”
