Gombe Utd beef squad with new 12 players

Nigeria Professional Football League returnee, Gombe United Football Club has made public 12 players it has signed ahead of the 2016/17 season, reports sportstalkafrica.com.
The Savannah Scorpions media officer, Halilu Mohammed Teli in a statement on Thursday informed that out of the new signings, three are from Kano Pillars, Umar Zango, Bala Mohammed and Suleiman Usman, while Austin Oladapo and Garry Ayamkyeh were signed from Kwara United.
Aside goalkeeper Joseph Omwuga who was signed for free, the followings were signed from other different clubs.
Mannir  Ubale (Wikki Tourists), Fabiyi  Emmanuel (3SC), Chidera Ejuike (Supreme FC), Edward Bewarang (Plateau United), Ola Ogundele )Zamfara FC) and Muhammad Isah(Babagamandi) from FC Yarmalight.
1.Umar  Zango – Defender- from Kano Pillars.
2. Mannir  Ubale – Striker- from Wikki Tourists
3.Fabiyi  Emmanuel – Goalkeeper- Shooting Stars (3SC)
4. Joseph Onwuga – Goalkeeper – Free
5.Suleiman Usman – Defensive Midfielder- Kano Pillars
6. Bala Mohammed – Right Back – Kano Pillars
7. Chidera Ejuike – Midfielder – Supreme FC
8. Austin Oladapo – Attacking Midfielder – Kwara United.
9. Garry Ayamkyeh – Striker – Kwara United
10. Edward Bewarang – Midfielder – Plateau United
11. Ola Ogundele – Defender – Zamfara FC
12. Muhammad Isah(Babagamandi)- Attacking Midfielder- FC Yarmalight

Fred Edoreh - Publisher

Born July 13, 1965, Fred Edoreh hails from Umeh, Isoko South, Delta State. He attended St. John Primary School, Iselegu, Mater Dei Collage Ashaka, St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Asaba for HSC and graduated in English and Literary Studies at Bendel State University, Ekpoma.
He went into journalism in 1990 with Newbreed Magazine and later crossed over to television production with Ultimate Sports and Soccerworld on the Nigeria Televsion Authority.
