“the Rivalry between the Eagles and Black stars has been there for a long time and the results has gone either ways, but I believe we have young talented players in the NPFL that are hungry to deliver and because of that hunger I believe they will defeat Ghana and other teams in the group if well prepared” he said.

“We know Ghana very well and so playing them is not new, all we need do is to go there and prove to them that we have a great League with good players.

“Our players should make sure they show the talents in them and justify their call ups to the National team and I am sure with hard work and grace of God we will get positive results” Dosu added.

The former Reggiana of Italy shot stopper also thanked the organizers for bringing the tournament back, saying it will help the home based players express themselves well in other to make it to the main Eagles.

“Am really glad this tournament is back, because it will give the home based players the chance to express themselves well, and such competitions will expose them a lot and open doors for them to make it to the main Super Eagles team” he concluded.
