CAF BEACH SOCCER: Nigeria qualifies for semi final



Nigeria has qualified for the semi final of the ongoing CAF Beach Nations Cup in Eko Atlantic, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Super Sand Eagles defeated Ghana four goals to three to reach the knockout stage.

Having lost their second game to Cote d’Ivoire on Wednesday, Nigeria needed to beat Ghana to stay on in the competition.

Egypt surprisingly beat Cote d’Ivoire 4-2 to qualify for the semi-final.

The Ivoirians were left disappointed having won their first two games to lead the group A table with 6 points.

In other results, Senegal schooled Libya ten goals to two as Morocco hindered Madagascar from defending the trophy defeating them 2-1 to progress.
