Bosso eyes more good NPFL results

FC Ifeanyi Ubah coach Ladan Bosso was happy to see his charges secure a 2-0 win over Heartland on Sunday.

The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match was played at the FC Ifeanyiubah International Stadium.

Goals from Ekene Awazie and Man-of-the-Match Seka Pascal sealed things for the home side as they ended their four-match winless run in the league.

“We are happy we were able to bounce back from our previous home draw and defeats at away,” coach Bosso said.

“I salute the players but essentially, I must say today’s win was a product of our management and supporters patience.

“Extra motivation by the chairman of the club, Chukwuma Ubah before the match also played a huge part,” he continued.

“Before the match, he addressed the players and as you witnessed he presented gift items to the players. For this, I’m dedicating this victory to him.”

The team has struggled on the road in the league this season and Bosso is keen to improve their away form.

“Yes, we’ve not been that good in our away games so far,” he admitted.

“But if you observe well, we have never lost scandalously at away. It is either 1-0 or 2-1. We never go down without a fight.

“But we are going to piece together the positives we picked from this game, work on them and ensure we begin to earn respectable results at away games starting from this weekend”.
