Katsina United manager, Abdul Usman Biffo has described as a tough test the top-flight clash against seven-time Nigerian champions, Enyimba.
The Changi Boys are up against the People’s Elephant in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 3 clash at the Mohammed Dikko Stadium in Katsina.
The newcomers were beaten 1-2 at Sunshine Stars in Akure while the Aba side shared the spoils with their oriental neighbours, Heartland in Calabar coming into the NPFL matchday 3 clash.
Biffo said he cannot wait any further to grab his first three points at home as manager of Katsina United.
“We are not under pressure going through two matches without a win managing barely a draw and loss.
“However, we the coaches and players have decided to take it up firmly before the pressure gets to us.
“Right now anything short of victory especially on the home soil will see us in some kind of troubles.
“The team is not bad in the last two matches at least we have somehow demonstrated with our performance how badly we need to start winning matches.
“We cannot afford to drop points any more so we are going all out to grab our first win in the premiership irrespective of the opposition.
“Any visitor right now is merely coming for sightseeing as we want to get our league campaign started.
“The clash is not going to be easy as Enyimba are most likely coming to get their first victory after two draws previously.
“There is no small or big match as every match has equal number of points. We do not want the name, Enyimba to distract us from our focus to claim the whole points at stake.
“That dream however will not happen but remain a pipe dream, Enyimba will see reason to put their hope for three points elsewhere.
“In fact, I’m keenly looking forward to grab my first three points in the premier league as Katsina United manager,” he told supersport.com.
