Bazuaye happy with Katsina Utd despite loss to ABS

By TUNDE SHAMSUDEEN

Kastina United Football Club stand-in coach, Baldwin Bazuaye, has said he is impressed with the players’ performance despite their defeat to Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC on Sunday at the Kwara State Sports Complex, Ilorin.

Speaking after the match, Bazuaye, said both teams had a good game and gave a good account of themselves in the matcha day 12 encounter of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

“ABS FC is a sound team. We played together in NNL Super 4. My boys didn’t play well in the first half but we came out better in the second half.

“It is just because of one or two mistakes that we made. My team played well today. Some few lapses made us lose but my colleagues and I will work on it” Bazuaye said.

His ABS FC counterpart, Henry Makinwa, said he is delighted his team won today because what is most important is the three points.

“We are working hard to see the boys scoring goals, I’m working everyday to improve them.

“I am happy about my boys performance today but we always want to do more.

“Our visitors played a very good game, we should have scored more but they denied us because they have a good team too” Makinwa said.
