AWC: GHANA BEAT SOUTH AFRICA TO CLAIM BRONZE

Ghana defeated South Africa one nil to win bronze in the African Women’s Championships which will come to an end tommorrow, Saturday, December 3 in Yaounde cameroon.

Defender Linda Eshun netted the only goal in the second half to ensure the Black Queens won the third place game three times in a row, 2014 and 2012.

Nigeria will take on host Cameroon in the final which will be played 3.30pm tommorow, Saturday in the same venue.

Born July 13, 1965, Fred Edoreh hails from Umeh, Isoko South, Delta State. He attended St. John Primary School, Iselegu, Mater Dei Collage Ashaka, St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Asaba for HSC and graduated in English and Literary Studies at Bendel State University, Ekpoma.
