Aluko moves to Fulham

image After his release by Hull City by which he became a free agent since May, Nigerian International , Sone Folarin Aluko, has signed on for London City side, Fulham.

This was after he helped Hull defeat Sheffield Wednesday to ensure Hull’s return to the elite EPL. He had been with Hull since 2012 and contributed eight goals in 23 appearances.

Aluko signed the two year contract for Fulham, now in the English Championship, with the option of staying on for 12 more months at the expiration of this first deal.

Born in Hounslow, England, in 1989, the skillful forward who also plays the wings started his professional career with Birmingham City but without much visibility before he moved over to Aberdeen in the 2097-08 season and later on loan and full contract to Blackpool the next season. Thereafter, he joined Rangers in 2011 where he produced 12 goals in 21 appearances.

In international football, he represented England up to the u19 level before opting to go under the Nigerian flag in 2009 when he joined the Nigeria under-20 and on to the under-23 in 2011. He has also received invitations and featured seven times with two goals for the Nigeria senior team, the Super Eagles.
