Ajayi charge Sunshine against Rivers

Chairman Ondo State Football Association, Otunba Dele Ajayi, has appealed to the players of Sunshine Stars to focus on recording maximum win against Rivers United in their match day 10 clash of the Nigeria Professional Football League billed for the state sports complex in Akure.

Otunba Ajayi in a meeting with the team’s representatives which included the captain, his assistant and some members of the coaching crew while sympathising with the players on their situation charged them to encourage the new government and show great commitments on the field on sunday against Rivers United.

The Nigeria Football Federation Executive Board Member thanked the players for their commitments so far.

Also speaking at the meeting, Ondo SWAN Chairman, Akintunde Akinsemola also appealed to the players to shift focus to how victory will be recorded on sunday, assuring the players that their demands will be met soon.

While responding, Sunshine Stars Captain, Abe Sunday thanked the stakeholders for the meeting, and expressed the readiness of the players to play on sunday and determined to win.

According to the former junior international, the players are focused on winning the match on sunday as he appealed to soccer loving people of the state to come to the stadium on Sunday and give maximum support to the team.
