ABS through to NNL Super 4 finals

Goalkeeper Suleiman Dogo, put up a heroic performance to help ABS FC to reach the final of the 2015/2016 Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 4 as they defeated Gombe United 5-4 on penalties at the Pantami International Stadium on Tuesday night.

There was little to separate both teams, the home side enjoyed more shots on target and possession was also balanced.

After 90 minutes, a shootout was required to separate the two sides and see who progressed to the final.

Dogo was the hero as he brilliantly saved two kicks to inspire the Henry Makinwa managed outfit to a famous victory much to the amazement of the home fans.

On Wednesday, Remo Stars have Katsina United to contend with in the second semi final of the NNL Super 4.

Third place and finals of the event will hold on Thursday December 15, 2016.
